Tteokbokki is a representative street food in Korea.

It is characterized by a spicy taste made by frying rice cake and red pepper paste, which are used as main ingredients, together.

Rice cakes made from wheat flour are mainly used, and their chewy texture and red pepper paste make them delicious.

It is a food loved by many people due to its harmonious combination of spicy flavors.

  • Rice cake (for tteokbokki)

  • Fish cake

  • Vegetables (onions, green onions, carrots, etc.)

  • Soaking time: 10 minutes

  • Vegetable preparation time: 10 minutes

  • ​Total time: 20 minutes

  1. Cut onions, carrots, green onions, and peppers into appropriate sizes.

  2. Prepare Tteokbokki rice cake by soaking it in water for about 10 minutes and then discarding the water.

  3. Add cooking oil to a pot and fry the onions and carrots over medium heat.

  4. Add the fish cake and fry a little more, then add the green onions and peppers and fry.

  5. TTEOKBOKKI MOKBUB SAUCE  Put 

  6. Put the rice cake and sauce in a pot and fry over medium heat until the rice cake becomes soft.

  7. Season with salt and pepper to adjust taste and consistency.

How to cook tteokbokki | hour

1. Prepare the prepared vegetables and soak the rice cakes and fish cakes in water.

2. Put YUMSIK SAUCE in a pot or pan and boil over medium heat.

3. When the seasoning sauce boils, add the soaked rice cakes, fish cakes, and prepared fish cakes.

Add vegetables Mix well with the seasoning.

4. Cook over medium-low heat until the ingredients are well seasoned.

It may take about 10-15 minutes for the rice cake to become soft.

​Therefore, it is expected to take approximately 20-30 minutes overall.
